Kurt's journey into music began with the study of piano, learning many 20th century classics. Today, he is known for his bluesy, fluid lead guitar. He has always insisted on being a self-taught musician, and has developed over many years as an artistic musician.

Early influences mainly came from the British Invasion that dominated Detroit radio. But from wise advice, he recognized early on that a guitar player must discover and develop his or her "own sound".
Today, his focus is to unleash his personal creativity. His latest CD was completely produced by himself, showcasing amazing performances on vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard. People will be amazed that one musician made these songs rock out.

His current back-up band includes drums, bass, and a vocalist. The new band is currently in rehearsals for upcoming local shows.
